Rooms and Facilities

Rooms can be booked individually or in combinations. You can select the rooms you wish to use, when you make a booking. Invoices to regular users of the hall are sent monthly in the first week of the following month with 14 days to pay. Please contact the Hall Manager if you have any questions regarding your invoice.  

*Concession rates are available to not-for-profit organisations booking both regular and one-off sessions. They are also available to residents of Botley & North Hinksey Parish, Dean Court, Cumnor Hill and Cumnor Village booking one-off private events.

Main Hall

The Main Hall is 125 square metres with a sprung wooden floor (ideal for dance and exercise), floor to ceiling windows and adjustable blinds. The Main Hall has direct access to the Kitchen as well as a serving hatch. For more space, include the Meeting Room and/or the Lounge in your booking request.

Hire per hour: Standard £22.50 and £24.00 from 1 April 2026. Concession* £16.00 and £18.00 from 1 April 2026.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room is 50 square metres with a vinyl floor and windows overlooking the car park. Since access to the Meeting Room is via the Main Hall or Lounge it can only be booked with either or both of these other rooms.

Hire per hour: Standard £9.00 and £9.60 from 1 April 2026. Concession* £6.50 and £7.20 from 1 April 2026.

The Lounge:

The Lounge is also 50 square metres with carpeted floor and access from the side of the building. The Lounge has direct access to the Kitchen as well as a serving hatch. It can also be combined with the Meeting Room.

Hire per hour: Standard £9.00 nd £11.00 from 1 April 2026. Concession* £6.50 and £8.25 from 1 April 2026.

Kitchen:

The hire fee applies when the Kitchen is used for catering for your event. Use is free for making tea and coffee, as long as another group is not using the Kitchen for catering. It has a door and serving hatch to both the Lounge and the Main Hall.

Hire per session: Standard £20.00 and £22.00 from 1 April 2026. Concession* £14.50 and £16.50 from 1 April 2026.

Other facilities

PA System

There is a powerful but easy to use PA system with an 8 channel mixer and DSP. For simple applications we provide a microphone and the device can play music via Bluetooth. It may also be used for groups of musicians to play together – there is an App that can be used to control the DSP.

The Standard rate for the PA system is £20.00/booking (Concession* £16.50)

Acoustics and partitions

The Main Hall has an acoustic ceiling and there are two sound proof partition walls, which can be moved by users after some initial instructions from the Hall Manager.

Chairs and tables

There are up to 120 chairs and 26 tables available to all users.

Monitors

We have wall-mounted monitors in both the Main Hall and the Lounge which can be used with a laptop or USB to display presentations, videos and other images. Ask when booking if you require use of the monitor so that the cable and remote control can be made available at the start of your booking.

Toilets

The toilets are accessible from the Main Hall and Lounge. There are four self-contained toilets plus an accessible toilet where you will also find a baby changing facility.
